The chinchilla special sand consists of clay-containing sepiolit. Unlike ordinary, quartz-containing chinchilla sand, this is porous, thoroughly and gently removes grease and other impurities from the coat, while retaining its naturally silky shine.
The special sand has no sharp edges and therefore does not cause dull or brittle fur. It is also the ideal gentle cleaning and care sand for degus and gerbils for their daily, pleasurable sand bath.

Špeciálny piesok činčily pozostáva zo sepiolitu s obsahom ílu. Na rozdiel od bežného činčilového piesku s obsahom kremeňa je tento porézny, dôkladne a šetrne odstraňuje mastnotu a iné nečistoty zo srsti, pričom si zachováva jej prirodzene hodvábny lesk.
