Drawing Cartoons: How Did It All Begin?

Drawing has accompanied me practically since I was 4 years old, when I discovered paper and crayons. When I was little, my parents often gave me a pencil and paper to entertain myself, and over time I developed a relationship with drawing and couldn't tear myself away from paper. In the beginning, I mostly drew cars, people and practically everything else, except for animals.

However, animals have accompanied me throughout my life, practically since birth. We always had cats at home, which I loved above all else, and my love for them accompanies me to this day. My parents once had a dachshund cross, but I got my first dog when I was 14. He was, and still is, our family dog, who taught me a lot about cynology. He is a labrador named Marley, now he will be 8 years old and he is a real member of the family.

I started drawing digitally in 2016, when I was learning, I didn't have any commissions and I created more for myself than for someone else. Marley has often been my role model. Since then, I have discovered that drawing animals is really fun and fulfilling for me. In 2017, I got a cat for my birthday, a mixture of a classic European and Siamese cat. I named him Maxík and he is my darling. He even became a mascot on my drawing account. I often draw him.

At the beginning of 2020, I started living with my partner and we got our own dog, an Australian Shepherd. We named him "Jack" after the famous movie "Pirates of the Caribbean". I bought him a pirate scarf when he was tiny and after starting his instagram (@auojack) he became quite popular as a puppy. When I created his account, I thought that I would use it as a diary, where I would upload a photo here and there, but the profile turned to a completely different scale. In addition to drawing, I also take photos and primarily use Instagram as our album, where I record memories that I would like to recall in a few years - also our beginnings, experiences, etc.

I also drew Jack. Since 2020, I have started an active business in the field of graphics, but mainly drawing and creating illustrations. This was followed by the creation of websites, Google companies and much more, such as social networks, etc. I was 100% convinced that I would not go with the crowd and create illustrations only with animal themes in a "cartoon" style..

I've been making a living drawing pets and other animals for practically a whole year now, and the interest is really huge. I create for all countries of the world..

The important thing is to be yourself and continue doing what you enjoy. And most importantly, don't give up.
